Art

At Leeds City Academy, our curriculum is designed to engage, inspire and challenge students, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to experiment invent and create their own works of art. They will learn how art and design both reflect and shape our history, and contribute to the culture, creativity and wealth of our nation.

Students will experiment with a variety of artistic materials, techniques and processes whilst learning to communicate thought and meaning visually. As students’ progress, they will be able to think critically and develop a deeper understanding of art and design.
At KS4 we offer both AQA GCSE Art, Craft & Design.
