2020 Rotary Award Winners

Two Leeds City Academy students have been awarded the prestigious Leeds Rotary Citizenship Award.

Rayan and Grace were commended for being outstanding individuals in a ceremony held in the Banqueting Suite of Leeds Civic Hall, in the presence of the Lord Mayor of Leeds. 

Grace was nominated for all of her hard work with supporting younger students settle in at our academy. Grace was also selected by Mrs Allchin for her unwavering support with the academy culture coaches. 

Rayan was nominated for all the support she offers in the library. Rayan is wonderfully organised and has been a wonderful example when helping students with reading. 

The Lord Mayor, who presented the awards, commented that the students were not only a credit to Leeds City Academy but to the Leeds community.
