LCA World Book Day 2019

Thursday 7th March, Leeds City Academy celebrated World Book Day 2019. 

Students and staff enjoyed celebrating World Book Day as they participated in activities throughout the Academy day.

Mrs Foy, Acting Principal, commented "Today we celebrated World Book Day at Leeds City Academy as students engaged with challenging reading activities and curiously quizzed staff about their highly creative costumes of characters from their favourite books.

"It is fitting that this truly global celebration of reading was recognised by our vibrant, diverse Academy.

"Thank you to our colleagues and students who made this a truly special day.”
