TransPennine Express Collaboration
Forty students from Leeds City Academy have collaborated with TransPennine Express on an ambitious and inspiring marketing campaign, filming interviews with key personnel at TransPennine Express' company offices. The process provided a vivid insight into careers at TransPennine Express, whilst working within a modern marketing environment.
The students collaborated with industry professionals to develop bespoke marketing material and creative content whilst operating cameras on location over four days. For their final session they presented their material to the Senior Leadership Team for approval, determining the winning campaign. Materials created by the students included; large display boards, individual classroom posters and four individual video clips for the PHSE curriculum.
One of the students said: "It was great to learn how to use the cameras and make a marketing campaign. I think this is something I'd really like to do in future as it brings together my interest in English Language and Art."
Leeds City Academy thanks TransPennine Express for their time and collaboration, which has inspired our students in future careers within marketing and national transport. For more details and an example of the materials, visit Engaging Education here.
